Fountain Tire Swift Current is looking for a skilled, full time, Journeyman Automotive Service Technician.

You will get to :

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
• Participating in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire

What does it take to get on track?

• Licensed or Journeyman Status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• 5+ years of automotive experience (diesel experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
