Job summary

Autism Services in Canada seeks a skilled Automotive Service Technician to work in a garage environment. You will adjust, repair or replace parts and systems on commercial trucks, perform inspections, road tests, and complete reports while coordinating with supervision.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification required.
• Truck/Transport certifications and Red Seal endorsements preferred.
• First Aid and WHMIS certificates beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Road test motor vehicles and complete reports of work performed.
• Coach and instruct apprentices.
• Review work orders and discuss findings with supervisor.
