Job summary

Ontario Tarp & Trailer Systems is seeking an experienced truck and trailer technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance at our Milton location. You will assess faults, repair or replace components, and ensure the fleet remains safe and compliant.

Emphasis on attention to detail and customer communication. Applicants should hold a Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification and a valid drivers license; on-site work is mandatory with no remote option.

Qualifications

  • Completion of college-level program related to truck repair.
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification required.
  • Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Review work orders and road test motor vehicles.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
