A growing company in Alberta seeks an electrical technician to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems for various automotive and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and strong diagnostic skills. Preference given to those with first aid training and knowledge of heavy vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid class 5 driver’s license required.
• Willing to invest in tooling.
• Comfortable with occasional heavy equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular service intervals and update service records.
• Adhere to corporate safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Willing to travel on service calls as required.

Skills

Strong electrical diagnostic troubleshooting

Knowledge in modern emission system control device operation

Logical mechanical powertrain troubleshooting

• Valid class 5 driver’s license.

• Willing to travel out on service calls if required

• Maintain safe operation of hand tools & power tools

• Knowledge in proper hazardous waste disposal
• Adhere to corporate safety protocols

Preference will be given to those who have:

• Strong working knowledge with automotive vehicles in excess of 4500KG T.A.R.E weight
• Knowledge in heavy equipment applications
• Hold valid first aid training
