Morrey Volvo Cars Burnaby is seeking a results-driven, experienced sales consultant to actively pursue customer prospects. You will provide comprehensive solutions with exceptional customer service, maintaining the Morrey standard.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the general supervision of the Sales Manager, you will greet customers, identify their needs, demonstrate vehicle features, arrange test drives, facilitate purchase agreements, and maintain post-sale communication, all with a focus on excellent customer service.

The role involves prospecting via outbound calls and correspondence, following up with previous and current customers, and engaging visitors or test drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow the sales process including:

  • Greet customers promptly upon arrival, as directed by the Sales Manager
  • Discuss transportation needs and preferences with customers
  • Present vehicles tailored to customer needs
  • Arrange test drives
  • Record customer details and interests
  • Assist customers in vehicle selection
  • Negotiate and finalize purchase agreements

Support dealership procedures for:

  • Pre-delivery vehicle inspections
  • Vehicle delivery, including demonstrations, warranty explanations, and introducing service staff

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Resolving customer issues promptly to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieving sales targets within schedule
  • Collaborating with team members and other departments
  • Staying informed on best practices and promotional trends
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current VSA Salesperson License (MVSABC)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License with current abstract
  • Minimum 3 years retail sales experience
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with CRM and relationship building
  • Proven sales, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm and appreciation for customers and the dealership
BENEFITS

Salary: $75,000-$125,000
