Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Quality Control Inspector for our client in Kimberley, Canada. The role focuses on inspecting vehicles and automotive components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications throughout production.

Responsibilities include documenting defects, using gauges to verify dimensions, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production teams.
• A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in the Kimberley manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and functional inspections of vehicles and parts at various production stages.
• Use measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Identify and document non-conformities, defects, and deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and engineering to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform final quality checks before vehicles are released for distribution.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ISO/TS 16949 compliance.
• Adhere to safety regulations on the production floor.
