Job summary

Canadian Tire Stores is hiring for an Automotive Parts Associate to join a fast-paced retail team. You will help customers, source and order automotive parts, process returns, and suggest related products to ensure customers leave with everything they need.

No previous experience is required as training is provided; the role requires walking/standing and the ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; full training provided.
• Strong computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner, over the phone and in person.
• Source and order automotive parts through authorized suppliers.
• Process returns, warranties and castings as required.
• Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need.
• Test and fill batteries, test starters and alternators.
• Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.).
• Perform hole checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
