Canadian Tire Stores is seeking an approachable Automotive Parts Associate to join our Winnipeg team. You will help customers, source and order parts, process returns and warranties, and recommend related items to ensure customers leave with everything they need.

No experience is required—we provide comprehensive training. You will work in a fast-paced, friendly environment with opportunities for career growth and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers in person or over the phone.
• Source and order automotive parts through authorized suppliers.

• Keep retail area stocked, labeled, and clean; support inventory accuracy.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner, over the phone and in person.
• Source and order automotive parts through authorized suppliers.
• Process returns, warranties and castings as required.
• Recommend related products to customers so they leave with everything they need.
• Test and fill batteries, test starters and alternators.
• Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.).
• Perform hole checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

• No experience is required!!! – We will provide all the training you need! You just need to be passionate about automotive
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Approachable
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
