Job summary

PartSource in Canada is seeking a PartsPro to help customers identify correct parts using our parts look-up system and sell automotive solutions. You will contribute to store success while upholding PartSource brand integrity and policies.

The role offers a competitive wage ($18.60–$21.00 CAD per hour) and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for growth and product discounts. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for automobiles, with foundational knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including point of sale (POS).
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Familiarity with mandatory PPE such as safety shoes and protective gear when required.

Your role will be pivotal to the store's success and in maintaining the PartSource brand integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the PartSource Operating System and external vendor platforms to identify correct parts, process transactions, and sell appropriate automotive parts solutions.
• Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and warranty details to customers.
• Ensure completion of assigned store tasks in a timely manner.
• Uphold store appearance and merchandising standards, including maintaining proper merchandise placement.
• Maintain a safe work environment, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Regularly communicate with managers regarding customer concerns and employee matters.

Our typical hiring range is between $18.60 and $21.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
