Job summary

CSN Autotrend in Ontario is seeking an automotive refinishing specialist to prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply primers and finishes. You will inspect finished work and perform touch-ups as needed, maintaining strict safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.

The role requires independence and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication, and a strong eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and hand tools.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality and defects; perform touch-ups as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Handle heavy lifting of parts or materials safely while adhering to safety guidelines.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent contamination or accidents
• Handle heavy lifting of parts or materials safely while adhering to safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive refinishing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
