Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Automotive NVH Engineer to join our client in Kimberley. The role combines on-site testing with remote analysis to improve noise, vibration, and harshness performance across programs.

With 5+ years in automotive NVH, you will use LMS/B&K for measurements, develop FEM/BEM-based models, and collaborate with design teams to meet targets. On-site work in Kimberley is required with hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive NVH engineering.
• Proficiency in NVH measurement techniques and data acquisition systems; strong communication of technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and analyze NVH testing for various vehicle components and systems.
• Utilize advanced NVH measurement equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Develop and validate NVH simulation models to predict and troubleshoot noise and vibration issues.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement solutions for NVH challenges.
• Define NVH targets and specifications for new vehicle programs and components.
• Troubleshoot NVH issues from prototype through production phases.
• Prepare detailed reports on testing results, analysis findings, and proposed solutions.
• Stay current with the latest NVH technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Work effectively within a cross-functional team, contributing to overall vehicle development goals.
