Job Description
The Automotive Mechanic/Technician position offers a pay range of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, guaranteed based on experience, with flat rates between $35.00 and $45.00 per hour. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on guest vehicles, starting with comprehensive training to develop your skills and advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications
• Secure guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work environment
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance
• Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment for inventory pickup
• Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in a tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Customer and team-focused mindset
• Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, where applicable

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8)
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Technical school certificate or degree in automotive technology
