Job description

Monty’s Locksmith Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Locksmith Technician to join our Toronto team. This full-time, permanent role is based at 1450 Lodestar Rd, Unit 7, where you will be responsible for providing car key replacements, repairing car door locks and ignitions, vehicle diagnostics, and security system installations.

Responsibilities

• Cut, program, and replace keys and key fobs for various vehicle makes and models
• Diagnose and repair key-related no-start issues
• Install vehicle immobilizers such as the Autowatch Ghost II and GPS tracking systems
• Perform lock rekeying and ignition repairs
• Document job details accurately using mobile software and CRM
• Provide professional communication and high-level customer service
• Pick up and drop off the company van daily at our shop

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of automotive locksmithing experience
• Strong skills with vehicle electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Sales-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and flexible with working hours including evenings and weekends
