Job summary

Canadian Executive Search Group / CES-AWS is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for an established automotive manufacturing client in Huron Park, Ontario. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, customers, suppliers, and management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality requirements.

The role involves leading projects from scope to launch, developing timelines and budgets, coordinating resources and risks, and mentoring engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing engineering and/or project management experience.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, IATF/ISO 9001 and related manufacturing standards.
• Experience with HPDC, CNC, automation, or assembly.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 1–3 years of office-based manufacturing experience.
• Experience working directly with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial scope through successful launch.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate resources, suppliers, and project requirements.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues.
• Support new product development from quotation through launch.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Communicate directly with customers and translate technical requirements.
• Manage multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support engineering team members.
