Job summary

Steele Auto Group in Halifax is seeking an Automotive Detailer to ensure every vehicle reflects high quality and craftsmanship. You will prep new and used vehicles, maintain lot presentation, and add finishing touches to deliver memorable customer experiences.

The role emphasizes independence, ability to work with both automatic and manual transmissions, and a commitment to a flawless finish. Compensation is hourly with total rewards eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive detailer is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Strong time management and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Report imperfections on new vehicles to management promptly.
• Apply products correctly to interior and exterior surfaces of vehicles.
• Buff vehicles to maintain high-quality appearance.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery and ensure optimal presentation on the lot and in delivery zones.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

We’re looking for an Automotive Detailer who plays a key part in that experience.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring every vehicle reflects the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail Hyundaiis known for. Whether you’re preparing vehicles for delivery, maintaining lot presentation, or putting the finishing touches on a customer's new ride, your work helps turn a vehicle handoff into a memorable experience.Because every Hyundai deserves a flawless finish, and every customer deserves an exceptional first impression.

Please note that this role is not eligible for Immigration Assistance due to the specific National Occupational Classifications (NOC) requirements.

Hourly Rate: $18.15 - $20.00

What You’ll Be Driving Into:

• Report any imperfections on new vehicles to management promptly.
• Apply products correctly to both the interior and exterior of sold vehicles.
• Buff vehicles as needed to maintain high-quality appearance.
• Prepare new and used vehicles to ensure they are presented in optimal condition.
• Park vehicles properly in designated areas, both on the lot and in delivery zones.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to ensure a productive and hazard-free environment.

What You Bring:

• Experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role would be considered an asset but not required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles
• Hardworking, self-motivated, and excellent time management skills
