Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a hands-on Test Automation Lead / Test Manager for a long-term contract/full-time role in a hybrid setup based in Toronto. The ideal candidate will lead functional testing, craft test strategies, and drive test execution across the project lifecycle.

Candidates must have wealth management domain experience, strong Jira proficiency, and the ability to develop dashboards in Power BI to track quality metrics and project progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional testing activities.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and execution schedules.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, development teams and the Test Management Office (TMO).
• Support integration testing, regression testing and UAT.
• Identify opportunities for testing process improvement and automation.
• Perform defect management and track quality metrics.
• Ensure robust test execution and timely dashboards using Power BI.

Iris's Direct client, a highly diversified financial services provider based in Canada is looking to hire a Test Automation Lead for a Long Term Contract / Full Time opportunity.

Location: Hybrid Toronto – 3 days onsite

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Seeking a hands-on Test Manager / Test Lead with strong functional testing experience and Wealth Management domain - MUST
• Lead and execute functional testing activities
• Implement front-loaded testing to identify defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and execution schedules.
• Utilize Jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Leverage Power BI to develop testing dashboards and track quality metrics.
• Identify opportunities for testing process improvement and automation.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, development teams, and the Test Management Office (TMO).
• Support integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Strong hands-on experience as a Test Manager, Test Lead, or Senior QA Lead.
• Expertise in functional testing, test execution, and defect management.
• Strong Jira knowledge and Power BI experience.
