Job summary

AMETEK Canada is seeking an Instrumentation Technologist to install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems in industrial settings. The role requires a strong technical background, safety focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

You will work with analyzers, PCBs, shelters and rack-mount systems, contributing to quality, documentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Technologist Certification in Electronics, Instrumentation or equivalent; OR high school graduate with 2 years related experience; OR an equivalent combo.

Responsibilities

• Checkout, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair Western Research products per plans, diagrams and manuals.
• Maintain safe work practices and report unsafe conditions.
• Ensure quality of finished products and keep quality records.
• Support continuous improvement and process improvements.
• Complete tasks within allotted time frames and maintain production records.
• Train and guide less experienced technicians and provide technical support to other departments.
