Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking an experienced senior QA automation engineer to design and build automation frameworks, scripts, and tools. You will lead the definition of automation strategies for critical systems and advance test coverage across unit, API, integration, and performance testing.

You will mentor teams, participate in design reviews, and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies. Fluency in French and English is required for daily tasks and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate experience implementing automation strategies for critical business applications.
• Master the testing pyramid and modern quality assurance practices.
• Experience with unit, component, API, integration, functional, end-to-end and performance testing.
• Master Playwright, PACT, K6, WireMock, xUnit and SonarQube.
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gate implementation.
• Proficiency with .NET/C#, SQL, TypeScript, and PowerShell.
• Familiar with CI tools like Azure DevOps CI.
• Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring and knowledge transfer.
• Ability to move efficiently in a matrix organization.

• Master the testing pyramid and modern quality assurance practices;
• Have experience with unit, component, API, integration, functional, end-to-end and performance testing;
• Master Playwright, PACT, K6, WireMock, xUnit and SonarQube;
• Have advanced experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gate implementation;
• Expand efficiently with .NET/C#, SQL, TypeScript, and PowerShell;
• Be familiar with continuous integration tools, including Azure DevOps CI;
• Demonstrate excellent communication, influential leadership, mentoring and knowledge transfer skills;
• Move efficiently in a matrix structure;
• This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
