Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, is seeking an Electrical and Controls Supervisor for the Machine Group Automation Team in Palmerston, Ontario. The role requires strategic leadership, technical oversight, and hands-on troubleshooting to keep complex production projects on schedule.

You will lead installation of automated equipment, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with maintenance personnel, contractors, and cross-functional teams to drive safe, efficient plant

Qualifications

• Must have controls/electrical qualification or equivalent training.
• Experience leading automation projects in industrial settings.
• Strong communication with technical professionals and trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of automated equipment and systems.
• Maintain electrical inspection documentation and reports.
• Coordinate PSHSR inspections for new/modified equipment.
• Develop weekly work summaries and overtime schedules.
• Manage project budgets, scheduling, and cost control.
• Provide technical advice to maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Configure control strategies to increase plant automation.
