Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Automation Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated control systems. This fully remote role focuses on industrial projects, enabling collaboration with a global team of engineers and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, 5+ years in industrial automation, and strong PLC/HMI/SCADA expertise, plus robust remote communication skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in industrial automation and control systems.
  • Proficiency with Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC platforms and HMI/SCADA tools.
  • Strong remote-collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automation projects.
  • Program, test, and commission automated control systems per specs.
  • Troubleshoot high-complexity electrical/automation issues remotely.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to define automation requirements.
  • Implement robotic systems and integrated automation solutions.
  • Stay current with automation tech and control systems advancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation applications.

  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to define automation requirements and scope.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial networks.
  • Experience with robotic integration and motion control.
