Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an experienced Millwright / Industrial Mechanic to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Canada. You will install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot equipment at our facility and on customer sites, following safety rules and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, ability to read drawings, and willingness to travel for onsite work. Valid driver’s license and asset certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read fabrication, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.
• Experience with fabrication processes and equipment installation/repair.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally and internationally for onsite installations.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift/scissor lift/crane certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Manufacture parts according to drawings or specifications.
• Assemble/fabricate components, frames and conveyors per drawings and manuals.
• Install, examine, troubleshoot, replace or repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies and electrical components as required.
• Assist in installing cable trays, conduit and wiring for electrical systems.
• Test operation of equipment to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Identify plant improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work environment.
