Job summary

Doka Canada is seeking a Technical Designer to produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings and material lists for customers, ensuring safe and efficient use of Doka forming equipment. You will support the sales team from early project stages to completion and mentor junior designers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–5 years of relevant concrete forming experience, with strong English communication and proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus. On-site position in Varennes, Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent technical education.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in concrete forming, shoring and design.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Create AutoCAD / Revit drawings and material lists for projects.
• Provide technical assistance to sales from proposal to completion.
• Ensure proper use of Doka forming equipment in drawings and designs.
• Conduct analysis and design calculations as required, based on experience.
• Mentor a Junior Technical Designer and support site visits.
• Participate in site visits to address issues and support project success.
