Craftsman Collision in West Kelowna is seeking a full-time Autobody Technician to join our team. You will assess damage, plan repairs, and work with a variety of materials and frame components to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of autobody repair experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Red Seal certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Ability to legally work in Canada.
• Ford aluminum certification at all locations.

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports and plan repair work.
• Clean and maintain the work space.
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• Repair or replace interior components.
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive for proper handling.
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling equipment.
