What can you expect in this role?
- Develop and apply knowledge of product solutions, types of risks, and economic processes.
- Provide exceptional service to broker partners in all interactions.
- Contribute to the achievement of established service level agreements and operational standards.
- Consistently meet expectations regarding production and quality of subscriptions.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of underwriting guidelines, standard operating procedures, risk factors, pricing structures, guarantees, reinsurance, and hazards to assess risks, classify, and rate transactions.
- Ensure insurance policies are correctly priced and rates are adequate within the relevant policy management system.
- Ensure compliance with provincial auto insurance regulations.
- Identify and escalate gaps in systems such as SharePoint, case management, policy management, and phone systems; seek opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and broker experience.
What do you bring to the role?
- Preference for candidates with a post-secondary degree or diploma, relevant experience, and a commitment to complete a CIP designation.
- Experience in a commercial underwriting support role is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform well in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Courteous, professional, and positive communication with team members and broker partners.

Salary range : $39,000 - $67,300
