PartSource in Canada is seeking a Material Handler to join a team that ensures high-quality products reach stores and customers efficiently. This role supports a multi-shift operation, including weekends, with emphasis on safety and accurate paperwork.

Ideal candidates are 18+, proficient with computers, have a high school diploma, a clean driver's record, and can operate power equipment. The job offers benefits and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proficient with computers.
• Successfully completed high school or equivalent (in Canada or abroad).
• A valid driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract.
• Demonstrated competence in power equipment and/or ability to learn new power equipment.
• Demonstrates ability to work efficiently and as part of a team.
• Able to meet department standards for shift work and physical requirements.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 50ft.
• Ability to lift, push, pull 22 kgs (50 lbs).
• Ability to walk/stand for up to a 10 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Abide by Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
• Participation in cross training of some distribution functions
• Safe operation of power equipment
• Following assigned work schedule, and identifying/reporting variances to Crew Lead
• Verify all merchandise to ensure that it coincides with the paperwork
• Work in and update warehouse management system
• Engagement in duties/special projects
• Participate in team-based decision making as required
