Assured Automotive, part of The Boyd Group, is hiring an Auto Body Technician. You will perform structural and non-structural repairs, disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles, and work with the team to meet KPI targets in a growth-focused environment.

The role offers competitive compensation ($90,000–$140,000 CAD/year), benefits after one month, and opportunities for training and career advancement within a large Western/Central Canada network.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary Auto Body Repair program completed.
• Minimum 3 years Auto Body Technician experience.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG).
• Red Seal or 310B is preferred; I-Car Gold Class is encouraged.

Mansioni

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels; disassembly and reassembly.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components and vehicle accessories.
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts; assess structural components.
• Use frame equipment and work toward KPI targets and quality outcomes.

Job Description: At Assured Automotive, we have been providing quality workmanship on every collision repair for over 30 years. The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, and will disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle. The Auto Body Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities’ KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
• Use of frame equipment
• Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI’s (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Red Seal or 310B is preferred
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)

Other Requirements

• Travel, physical requirements, etc.
• You are able to lift up to 50 Lbs
• You have your own toolbox
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation Details

Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000 per year. Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
