Job summary

Assured Automotive in Canada is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to perform structural and non-structural repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with team members to meet KPIs and maintain high quality.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' auto body technician experience, MIG/TIG welding skills, and a valid driver's license. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits after one month, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or post-secondary auto body training.
• 3+ years of auto body technician experience preferred.
• Experience with welding (MIG/TIG) a must.

Responsibilities

• Repair damage to vehicle body panels
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles accurately
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts and electrical components
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts
• Assess and repair structural components and use frame equipment
• Maintain high quality and productivity to meet KPI targets
• Uphold WOW (Wow Operating Way) standards

Job Description

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, and will disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle. The Auto Body Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
• Use of frame equipment
• Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI's (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Red Seal or 310B is preferred
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)

Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.

• You are able to lift up to 50 Lbs
• You have your own toolbox
• Valid driver's license required

Compensation Details

Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000 per year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
