Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking a Detailer to pre-wash and detail vehicles before they move into production and prior to final delivery. You will clean both the interior and exterior, polish surfaces, and help maintain a clean shop environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong communication, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license. Join a team focused on quality, growth, and a supportive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Detailer pre-washes vehicles and cleans interior/exterior prior to delivery.
• Polish, dry, and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats, and exterior.
• Maintain clean, organized shop and parking lot; power wash floors as needed.
• Support achievement of KPIs and adhere to the WOW plan.

The position is also responsible for completing general repair facility cleaning responsibilities while working with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesCleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipmentPolish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior bodyProtects and preserves automobile exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxesVacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)Shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containersMaintain a clean and organized parking lot at all timesPower wash the shop floor, (to reduce appearance of dirt) as requiredMaintain and organize the vehicles in the parking lot daily (incl. keys, floor mats and RO Signs)Responsible for the consistent implementation of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
