Kerry’s Place Autism Services in Peel Region, Brampton, ON is seeking an Autism Support Associate for a temporary full-time role. You will lead day-to-day support for people with autism, coordinating with families, clinicians, and staff to promote health, safety, and quality of life.

Requirements include a Developmental Service Worker diploma or PSW certificate, or HS with experience; strong communication; knowledge of autism.

Qualifications

• DSW Diploma, PSW Certificate, or equivalent program; or HS diploma with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with autism is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day support to people with autism and ensure health and safety.
• Coordinate with families, medical, educational contacts for service delivery.
• Provide leadership and coaching to staff to improve service quality.
• Ensure Person-Centered Planning and Personal Outcomes are implemented.
• Document incidents and coordinate with Clinical supports when needed.
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life for persons supported.
