Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion required.
• Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate Program.
• Completion of POPARD program (30 hours).
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with safety procedures.
• BC Driver's License - Class 5 with clean driving record.
• 6 months of experience with behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to teachers and other professionals in delivering programs for students with autism.
• Acts as an advocate for students and collaborates with the school-based team.
