Job summary

Canucks Autism Network is seeking Support Workers for the Fall 2026 season across Fraser Valley locations. Positions are seasonal with varied evenings and weekends, supporting autistic youth in CAN programs such as Swim, Multisport, Skate, and Gymnastics.

Roles involve 1:1 or small-group support, ensuring safety, inclusion, and engagement under supervision. Training and ongoing guidance are provided to all team members.

Qualifications

• Understanding of autism, neurodiversity, and strengths of autistic individuals.
• Strong communication and active listening with families and staff.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent program participation.
• Experience supporting autistic youth or diverse needs is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in CAN programs with 1:1 or small‑group support.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for participants.
• Assist with participant toileting and personal care as needed, under supervision.
• Collaborate with Onsite Supervisors, Coaches, and Volunteers to run sessions.
