Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Agribusiness team to demonstrate leadership capability and people management skills on the Trainee Manager Programme. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by Branch Managers in small, medium, and large Homeland Stores whilst developing strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Branch Managers & team for the effective operation of Homeland Stores.
  • People management.
  • Relationship management with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Dealing with customers queries, ensuring customer retention, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Developing knowledge of Core system.
  • Achieving KPIs and targets as directed by management.
  • Inventory management and stock control.
  • Managing the Credit function, setting up new accounts and managing debt collection.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A consistent focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • A third-level qualification in Agriculture/ Business, or equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work on own initiative & achieve results.
