Job Title : Auditor

Location : CityScape

What you'll do :

As an Auditor, you will assist in assessing the design and operational effectiveness of controls within your assigned audit areas, supporting the execution of the department's annual audit plan. Responsibilities include attending process walkthrough meetings, documenting process narratives, testing controls for compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations, and validating management action plans to close audit issues. Your Associate Audit Director will mentor you to support your professional growth. You will also participate in peer group meetings for support and insight as your career develops.

What we are looking for :

• Support the Audit Director, Associate Audit Director, and Audit Supervisor with audits across the organization, completing multiple audit assignments and projects.
• Use audit software (Wdesk / Workiva) to document process narratives, assist in drafting risk & control matrices, and develop audit test steps based on scope and methodology. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls in accordance with policies and regulations. Respond to review notes, provide conclusions, and make recommendations. Conduct additional testing as needed.
• Plan and perform validation tests for management action plans. Assist in closing audit issues and provide status updates to supervisors.
• Meet department training requirements, discuss performance goals with your supervisor, and participate in team, peer, and one-on-one meetings.

What you need to have :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Entry-level time management and organizational skills
• Good communication skills; extensive public speaking or writing is not required
• Certifications such as CIA, CPA, CRM, AML Specialist, RMA, IIA certifications, or RMA are preferred
• Occasional travel may be required
