POSITION LOCATION / WORK ARRANGEMENT :
The designated worksite for this position is the Ottawa, Ontario OSFI Office. However, the employee may work from the Ottawa or Toronto office.
OSFI’s hybrid model includes telework and mandatory onsite presence. The terms of the employee’s telework arrangement will be established in accordance with the Directive on Telework and the Guidelines on Hybrid Work. These arrangements must be reviewed annually, at a minimum, and can be subject to change.

The Audit Support Officer position provides unique on-the-job learning opportunities where you will learn the profession of Internal Audit in the Government of Canada. You will work under general supervision, providing support and performing assigned tasks within each phase of an audit engagement as a member of the audit team. The ideal candidate should be interested in continuous learning and an interest in progressing within Internal Audit. This position will provide a range of operational support services to Internal Audit and the Departmental Audit Committee (DAC), both independent and objective functions that provide advice and recommendations to the Superintendent regarding OSFI’s risk management, governance and control processes. Reporting to the Professional Practices Manager, this position efficiently and professionally facilitates the daily operations of Internal Audit. Internal Audit responsibilities include supporting the Internal Audit staff in their completion of audit engagements and other duties as assigned. This position supports the Internal Audit function through the provision of research and analysis, internal controls testing and participation in audit meetings and documentation of minutes.

Compensation : OSFI offers a competitive salary, and employees may be eligible for in-range increases and economic adjustments. Salaries are based on qualifications, experience and knowledge. The Public Service Pension Plan is a defined benefit pension plan (indexed for inflation), where both the employer and the employee contribute.

Intent of the process
