Job summary

AV-Canada is seeking a dependable Audio Visual Technician to join our events team on a freelance or part-time basis. You will set up, operate, and dismantle AV systems in corporate environments, ensuring client satisfaction across a range of events.

You will work with a collaborative team, troubleshoot signal flow issues, and contribute to ongoing skill growth in the AV and events industry.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3 years of audio-visual experience, or completion of an AV program in an educational setting.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

We are looking for a dependable, service-minded Audio Visual Technician to join our events team on a freelance or part-time basis. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantle of small to medium-sized audio, video, and lighting systems in corporate environments, ensuring every client leaves fully satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Setup, Operation & Dismantle

• Set up, operate, and dismantle audio, video, and lighting equipment accurately and on schedule.
• Work closely with the team to deliver flawlessly executed events.
• Understand equipment and system signal flow in order to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly as they arise.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative crew environment.
• Continue learning and growing your skills within the AV and events industry.

Customer Service

• Conduct yourself professionally in all interactions with clients.
• Act as the client’s point of contact for technical concerns and schedule changes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3 years of audio-visual experience, or completion of an AV program in an educational setting.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
