Job summary

GAV MGMT Inc. is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to support commercial AV installations and service calls in the Montreal area. Strong leadership and independence are required to succeed in this role.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in the Commercial/Pro Audio Video industry, knowledge of Crestron control systems, and familiarity with projectors and related equipment. Travel to client sites is expected, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with installation and integration in the Commercial/Pro Audio Video industry.
• Knowledge of the installation, service, testing, and maintenance of projectors and related equipment.
• Knowledge of Crestron control systems.
• Knowledge and tools required for uploading Crestron programs.
• Ability to modify audio programs, including Polycom SoundStructure, ClearOne, or Biamp.
• Experience with Cisco TelePresence systems.
• Experience terminating RJ45, DB9, HD15, and RCA connections.
• Ability to read drawings and architectural plans.
• Rack building and wire management experience.
• Travel will be required.
