Job summary

Ontario University Athletics seeks an AV Technician to install, configure, and support classroom and event AV systems across campus. You will manage equipment like projectors, microphones, and conferencing tools while coordinating with IT and facilities teams.

Qualifications

  • Valid G-Class Driver’s License.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • CTS certification preferred or to be obtained within the first year.

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Two-year College Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Broadcast Technology, MediaProduction or related field.
  • One to two years of experience in AV equipment setup and troubleshooting, preferably in an educational or corporate setting. Anequivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with AV control systems (Crestron/Extron), video conferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams), and AV-over-IP technologies.
  • Valid G-Class Driver’s License.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification preferred or to be obtained within the first year.
