Job summary

GOSAVI Meeting Solutions Inc. in Burlington, Ontario, is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to support pre- and post-sales activities, and to install, configure, test, and commission AV systems in commercial environments.

Responsibilities include on-site surveys, safe equipment handling, reviewing drawings, maintaining professional cable management, assisting with solution design, responding to customer tickets, and staying current with AV technologies and certifications.

Qualifications

• AV certifications or equivalent training in multiple brands.
• Experience with AV system integration in commercial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site surveys and follow safety requirements.
• Pre-stage and test equipment at the warehouse.
• Install, configure, test, and commission AV systems with tidy cable management.
• Review technical drawings, schematics, and layouts during installation.
• Work with the team to design solutions and maintain databases (CRM, projects, tickets).
• Respond to and resolve customer support tickets promptly.
• Support sales calls and solution design when required.
• Onboard clients to GOSAVI technical processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and escalate risks early.
• Stay current with AV technologies and certifications.

GOSAVI Meeting Solutions Inc. specializes in designing and delivering modern enterprise communication environments. We provide expert consultation, installation, and support for video conferencing, audio-visual systems, unified communications, and acoustic solutions.

The GOSAVI Audio-Visual Technician (AV Tech) is responsible for supporting all technical pre -and post-sales activities.Responsibilities of the AV Tech includes, but is not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site surveys and follow all site access and safety requirements
• Pre-stage and test equipment at the GOSAVI warehouse following internal procedures
• Install, configure, test, and commission AV systems and maintain clean, professional cable management
• Accurately review and apply technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts during installation and service work
• Work in conjunction with the GOSAVI team to design solutions, and in maintaining up-to-date key company databases (CRM, Projects, Tickets, Archiving)
• Respond to and resolve customer support tickets in a timely and professional manner
• Support sales calls and solution design when required
• Onboarding clients to GOSAVI technical processes
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and escalate risks early
• Stay current with AV technologies, manufacturer platforms, and industry certifications
• Identify and communicate emerging trends, products, and customer needs

Vehicle Requirements

• Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for transporting tools and equipment
• Vehicle must pass safety inspection and be kept clean and professional
• Vehicle should not showcase any inappropriate signs/stickers/decals which customers and coworkers may find offensive

Qualifications & Skills

• Training or certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, Poly, Logitech, Shure, Sennheiser, Yealink, or similar
• Experience with AV system integration in commercial environments, including retrofit and/or new construction
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn advanced AV systems and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
