Job summary

Deluxe AV Solutions is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join our installation and sales team. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems for commercial and residential clients, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction.

You will also engage in solution selling, interpret drawings, coordinate with clients, and maintain thorough system documentation. A valid driver's license is required and training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AV installation experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; sales experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CTS or industry certifications preferred.

Job Title: Audio Visual Technician – Install & Sales

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled and customer-focused Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for amotivated Audio Visual Technician with strong technical knowledge and a passion for customer service. This role combines hands-on installation work with sales responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to influence both the technical and client-facing sides of our business. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Technical Work:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment including Sound Systems, control systems, conferencing solutions, Security systems and more.

Pull cable, terminate connectors, mount hardware, and ensure all systems are functional and meet client expectations.

Conduct system tests and calibrations, ensuring high-performance delivery.

Maintain documentation, system diagrams, and service records.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in AV installation or a related field. (preferred)

Strong understanding of AV systems, wiring, control interfaces, and signal flow.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; sales experience is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various job site conditions.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

CTS or other industry certifications.

Familiarity with brands such as Control4, QSC, Shure, and similar.

Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches).
