Job summary
Sonavox Canada Inc. is seeking a motivated engineer to join our product development team.
The role focuses on system design and specifications, firmware development for microcontrollers, and assisting with product certification. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, hands-on experience with PCB design, C programming, and measurement tools such as oscilloscope and multimeter.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong theoretical background and understanding of electrical circuits
- Experience with C programming for microcontrollers
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design software
- Skilled use of measurement tools such as oscilloscope and multimeter
- 2+ years of experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of power electronics is advantageous
- Jira familiarity is a plus
- PLM familiarity is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design system architecture and specify requirements
- Develop firmware for microcontrollers
- Assist with final product certification processes
