Job summary

Sonova is seeking an RF Developer to join its Electronic Systems & RF team in Canada. You will define specifications for RF functions, design PCB antennas and RF circuits, and drive verification and testing through product integration and certification.

The role requires hands-on RF design experience, proficiency with CST Studio Suite and RF test equipment, and familiarity with Bluetooth/ISM wireless systems. A Master’s degree and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Proven RF design experience including antenna design, RF measurements, and wireless development.
• Experience with CST Studio Suite and RF test equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Define RF function specs for circuits and antennas.
• Design, develop, and optimize PCB antennas and RF circuits.
• Create verification plans and verify RF solutions for performance.
• Run RF simulations and evaluate antenna and transceiver performance.
• Support development of next-gen wireless platforms.
• Lead RF compliance activities and regulatory conformance.
• Coordinate with labs to manage RF certification.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on feasibility and future platforms.
