Job Overview:

Provide supervision and coordination of the Athletic Department's overall sports health program with focus on Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Golf, including risk-reduction, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries and illnesses, rehabilitation, education, counseling of student-athletes, and healthcare administration in consultation with medical personnel.

Qualifications:

Required:

• National Athletic Trainers' Association BOC certification in good standing.
• New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners Athletic Training License in good standing.
• Active AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Master's degree in athletic training or related field.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Experience managing multiple tasks under pressure.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds and assist with injured individuals.

Preferred:

• Experience with collegiate or elite athletic settings.
• Blood Flow Restriction Certification.
• Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 and 2 Certifications.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Non-traditional hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Travel during competition schedules.

Essential Functions:

• Provide athletic training services for the university's athletic department.
• Attend team practices and competitions.
• Manage health needs of team rosters with a patient-centered approach.
• Provide first aid and emergency care.
• Develop procedures for minor injuries.
• Assist in athlete rehabilitation in coordination with physicians and physical therapists.
• Communicate relevant health information clearly to coaches, staff, athletes, and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
