Job summary

New Balance is seeking Retail Sale Associates to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service. You will apply expert product knowledge and proper selling techniques to assist customers through every step of the transaction, including fitting NB products and promoting promotions.

Greet customers, understand needs, educate on features, and close sales while keeping the floor neat and well stocked.

Qualifications

• Should be a people person and provide exemplary customer service.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Greet and engage customers, understand needs, educate on product features and benefits.
• Assist with transactions through suggestive selling and accurate closing.
• Measure and fit customers with NB products and inform them about promotions.
• Keep floor neat, labeled, and well-stocked; monitor merchandise for security; report issues.
