Job summary

Airbus in Mirabel, Quebec, is seeking structural assemblers to join our team. The role focuses on building A220 aircraft components according to engineering drawings and assembly manuals, with paid training and strong safety expectations.

Qualifications

• A TS D in aerospace structural assembly or aerospace mechanical assembly, or a DSC in airframe assembly.
• Evidence of completion of an accelerated (fast-track) training program in aircraft structures.
• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience as an assembler in aerospace or related industry (within last 5 years).
• You will be required to work in an enclosed space.
• You will be required to work at heights up to 30 feet regularly.
• Ability to adopt and maintain various physical positions as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Work from assembly manuals and visual aids.
• Use jigs and position PVA components, engineering drawings, or materials from methods department.
• Drill within prescribed tolerances, apply sealing products, install fasteners according to specifications.
• Meet deadlines set by the methods department and comply with quality references.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with production standards and rates.
• Perform other duties based on experience and qualifications.

Your boarding pass:

• A T.S.D. in aerospace structural assembly OR;
• A T.S.D. in aerospace mechanical assembly OR;
• A D.S.C in airframe assembly OR;
• An evidence of completion of an accelerated (fast-track) training program in aircraft structures, OR;
• A high school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years of experience as an assembler in the aerospace field or a related industry, within the last 5 years;
• You will be required to work in an enclosed space;
• You will be required to work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis;
• Ability to adopt and maintain various physical positions as needed for the job.
