Our client, a well-established public practice firm in Vancouver, is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager, Assurance to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with a strong public practice background, exceptional interpersonal skills, and proven experience leading audit and review engagements for private companies. You’ll play a key leadership role in managing client relationships, overseeing quality assurance, and supporting the firm’s continued growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Audit Engagement Management – Lead audit and review engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control & Review – Oversee accuracy and timeliness of reports, financial statements, and team deliverables.
- Client Relationship Management – Provide strategic financial insights, address client concerns, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Team Leadership – Mentor and support junior audit professionals, contributing to a positive, collaborative work culture.
- Business Development – Help identify opportunities for growth and contribute to the firm’s expansion efforts.
- Technical Guidance – Tackle complex accounting issues and offer expert insights on financial reporting.
- Resource Management – Monitor budgets and optimize team workflows.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure alignment with GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
What You Bring:

- 5+ years of experience in public practice, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and audit best practices.
