Job summary

BDO Brandon is seeking a Co-op or Intern student to join the Assurance team for a 4-month term from January to April 2027. The role provides a comprehensive learning experience in accounting, exposing you to financial reporting, analysis and teamwork.

You will efficiently apply coursework to prepare tax returns, gather evidence for engagements, and collaborate with clients and team members. BDO emphasizes integrity, respect and collaboration while supporting CPA progression.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in accounting.
• Desire to provide outstanding client service and teamwork.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for various clients using course knowledge.
• Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments per regulatory standards.
• Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
• Build positive client relationships and respond to requests.
• Participate in business development initiatives with existing clients.
• Communicate progress and issues with team members.
