Job summary

BDO Winnipeg is seeking a Co-op or Intern to join the Assurance team for a 4-month term from January to April 2027. The role provides a comprehensive learning experience in accounting, exposing you to financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and team teamwork.

You will gain experience preparing tax returns, supporting tax compliance projects, and gathering evidence for engagements while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients.
• Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments per regulatory standards.
• Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions.
• Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
