Job Title: Associate Sales

Summary: An Associate Sales is a brand ambassador for Carter’s/OshKosh B’gosh, contributing to store success through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and a courteous attitude.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing an exceptional shopping experience, including greeting customers, assisting them, guiding them to merchandise, suggesting products, and providing product information and positive opinions.
• Collaborate with sales associates and management to meet and exceed sales goals and operational standards.
• Handle customer transactions and strictly follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist with marketing, visual presentation, and store standards.
• Secure company assets by adhering to loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Develop retail skills through company training if applicable.
• Receive and process products accurately while maintaining back-of-store organization.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks as required.
• Create a positive and friendly environment for all employees.
• Follow all store and company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to store success by achieving desired results.

Experience and Skills:

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Energetic and enthusiastic team player.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to move and replace displays, shelves, and hardware.
• Frequent use of ladders.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Availability Requirements:

• Must have a permanent work schedule to remain an active employee.
• Availability changes require manager approval and will be assessed based on business needs.
• Availability to meet the company's scheduling needs (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to work shifts from 2 to 8 hours as per provincial laws.
• Minimum hours are not guaranteed.
