Since its establishment in 1995, the SPF team has successfully closed over 700 financing transactions globally, totalling more than USD 60 billion. The SPF team also provides thought leadership to internal and government stakeholders on major critical minerals, energy transition, and trade‑enabling infrastructure projects.

Associates will participate in EDC’s Project Finance Associate Program (PFAP), which combines structured learning, mentorship by senior team members, regular feedback and hands‑on transaction experience in high‑impact projects. The program develops project‑finance capabilities in areas such as financial modelling and sensitivity analysis, credit structuring, due diligence, legal documentation, and engagement with clients, sponsors, advisors and co‑financiers.
