Lakehead University is seeking a casual Associate Security Guards / Security Guards to patrol campus, deter theft, and maintain order. The role supports University personnel and visitors, with required responsibilities across reporting, escort services, and incident response.
Ideal candidates will hold a Law and Security Administration or Police Foundations Diploma (or a university degree/equivalent) and a valid Ontario Private Security & Investigative Services License.
Under general supervision, reporting to the Director, Security Services, the Associate Security Guards / Security Guards performs duties for the purpose of preventing theft and vandalism, maintaining order, providing security for all University personnel, buildings and property, controlling traffic and parking, guiding students and visitors, and undertaking special investigation duties as required. Incumbents in all classifications are subject to rotating shifts, day or night shifts.
This is a casual position.
